Service Description

This 6-week session is dedicated entirely to nature. No Art tables, no STEM projects. This is pure forest freedom. Children spend two hours exploring the woods, learning through movement, curiosity, and play. They climb logs, follow trails, observe mushrooms, collect leaves, splash in puddles, and discover the magic of the forest with friends. 🌿 What Children Will Experience. *Forest Exploration & Free Play *Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace; climbing, running, balancing, digging, and using their senses to connect with nature. *Learning Flora & Fauna We love forest education, including local trees, plants, mushrooms, animal tracks, birds, and seasonal changes. *Outdoor in All Weather We are outside in rain, snow, or sunshine. Nature doesn’t close, and neither do we! Children build resilience, grit, and confidence outdoors. *Child-Led Learning & Natural Risk-Taking. Climbing, running, jumping, balancing, and a safe space to test their bodies....while being supervised with care. 🧑‍🏫 Safety & Supervision *Program led by a Licensed Outdoor Early Childhood Educator(s) *Children wear high-visibility safety vests at all times. *Small group sizes for safety, connection, and meaningful learning. *First aid trained staff with CRC clearance and emergency protocols in place. 🌧 What to Bring *Warm, waterproof clothing (layers underneath recommended) *Waterproof boots *Gloves, hat/toque, and extra socks on cold days *Backpack with water bottle and small snack 💛 Our Philosophy At Wild Ones Art Club, we believe: Childhood should be wild, messy, curious, and full of wonder. The forest is our classroom. Every mushroom, tree, puddle, and fallen leaf has something to teach us. Children learn best when they are trusted, respected, and given freedom to explore. Spaces are limited to keep the group small, safe, and magical.
